Return. Belong. Rebuild.
To return is one thing. To belong once you are back, and to rebuild what was lost in the meantime, is the slower work. NOMUN 2027 opens up that work through four committees, each looking at a different edge of the same problem.
UNESCO takes up the return of cultural property to the countries it was taken from. SOCHUM turns to displaced children who risk growing up with no nationality to belong to. SPECPOL considers refugee return in places where the road home is still lined with mines. And the Historical CSCE of 1992 walks with the Crimean Tatars as they come back to a Crimea that has already been remade without them.
Two days online, on 30 and 31 January 2027. Open to first-time and experienced delegates alike. Free to attend. Guided by the Nordic values of fairness, calm, openness and rigour.
